Numele meu este Josh Merrow. În anul 2000 m-am mutat la Barcelona din New York. Ca întreprinzător avid, mecanic şi sculptor, am purtat întotdeauna cu mine un Leatherman încă de când le-am descoperit, în 1992. Am reuşit să-l pierd şi, verificând preţurile europene, am descoperit că erau vizibil mai mari decât cele de acasă, din SUA. L-am rugat atunci pe unchiul meu, care este un distribuitor de produse pentru construcţii, să-mi trimită unul nou. La scurt timp după aceea, prietenii au început să mă întrebe dacă le pot face şi lor rost de un Leatherman şi astfel s-a născut ideea acestei companii.

Începând cu acel moment, am livrat unelte Leatherman clienţilor din toată Europa prin intermediul acesteui website, prin anunţuri de mică publicitate şi prin prietenii şi colegi.

At first I tried to import the tools myself, but the official Leatherman sales network was quick to threaten with lawsuits based on brand registration rules, which prohibit imports by third parties and I was under constant pressure to offer them at preestablished high consumer prices. Fortunately, consumer protection and free trade rules exhaust brand protection after import and as already imported product can be found regularly on sale in several EU countries, I can keep offering them to you at reasonable prices without having to fear repercussions from the brand owner and its distributors. With time I have added several other products to our catalogue and thanks to a positive public response, business is steadily growing. With the exception of those brands legally protected from being imported by third parties, we import all other items ourselves
